Aston-by-Stone Questions and Answers
| In the 1860s and 1870s my gggrandfather worked at the Flint Mill in Aston. Does this still exist? Does anyone know where it was ? |
Answer this question |
Apparently, my gggrandfather, (surname Mould) also worked at Aston Flint Mill, Aston St Saviour, Stone, Staffs at around the same time (1860 - 1870). Was your gggrandfather a colleague of my gggrandfather or are we related?

| Aston by Stone - Pool House, I think in Pool row, does this property still exist? I need to establish the connections... My gt grannie was born there in 1862 to Hannah Bailey and Thomas Goodwin. This is the only outstanding issue in a 900 page family history write up I must get up there to take some pics, can anyone help ? |
